Janki Mandir is the most sacred temple in Sitamarhi, believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita. Located just 1.5 km from the railway station, this temple attracts thousands of devotees daily.

The temple is open from 5 AM to 9 PM. The best time to visit is during Vivah Panchami (November/December) when grand celebrations take place. Entry is free.

How to reach: From Sitamarhi Railway Station, take an auto-rickshaw (Rs 20-30) or walk for 15 minutes. From Bus Stand, it is 2 km away.
